Treadmills have been popular for long time as pieces of home fitness equipment. Many of them fold up so are easy to store and even quite small rooms of your house. When looking to buy a treadmill there are a few things you need to take into consideration like the size and whether it will fold up if you need to store it. However, some treadmills are manual while others use electric motors to turn the running belt, so you need to read the reviews carefully to decide which treadmill is best for you. Generally the more expensive treadmills will be motorised, and this is what most people want.

If you want just a basic treadmill, you don't have to pay a huge amount. The costs of these treadmills usually vary with features, with a higher spec treadmills including speakers for your iPod, fans, LCD displays, etc.  You just need to decide what is important to you and what you can live without. If money is no object then the top of the range treadmills like the Sole F80 (2011 Model), can provide just about every feature possible.
