After Week 3:
Progress has been slow and steady, though I don’t mind this. I have noticed massive changes in how I feel, and that is the most important thing.
A downside of this program is that my body feels over-worked. My joints hurt more, and a niggling trapped nerve I have been suffering with for the last 8 weeks has inflamed and causing me a lot more pain. To try to help my body recover, I am going to be making changes to the program. I will detail those changes next week, when I start, but for now, I am taking one week off training to allow my body time to recover. Perhaps it is just my age (42) and my previous lack of regard for my own body which has meant my body cannot cope with the Body For Life program just yet.
